With world-wide news reports and the global spread of the COVID-19 virus, we realize you have concerns. As health care professionals, we are committed to remain as diligent as ever in protecting the health and safety of you, our patients and of course our staff. Our office procedures strictly adhere to and exceed the standards for infection control authored by the CDC by wearing personal protection, using hospital-grade disinfectants, practicing state of the industry sterilization protocols, using “single-use” disposable materials, and more. We have been exhaustive in our efforts to make sure everything is in place is to ensure your safety and of course, our staff. We will be monitoring this situation daily, and we will keep you updated.
Symptoms of coronavirus can be varied based on your current health profile but generally are reported as flu-like, with widely varying degrees of severity. We do not know everything about this virus as information is updated daily. Individuals who are older and/or those whose immune system appears compromised are the most at risk of a severe infection. To ensure your health and safety, and those in our office, please reschedule your appointment if you or a member of your household has a cough, fever, and/or flu-like symptoms. Also, please reschedule your appointment if you have traveled to any areas within the past 14 days that are at high risk for contracting the virus.
Thank you in advance and please accept our gratitude for your cooperation. Together, we can make sure everyone has the greatest opportunity for health and safety. Please call our office if you have questions. One of our staff will be more than happy to assist you.
